Artist to create dinosaur theme park

GV Ramanamurthy, a 38-year-old sculptor and artist from Vizag, who is well known for his various sculptures, murals, portraits, fountains and paintings in the city, is all set to create a dinosaur theme park in Srisailam.
Ramana, whose sculptures dot the city, says, “Painting is my passion. Even as a child, I was always interested in art. After completing my graduation in Vizag, I joined Ramoji Film City.I have made sculptures in various mediums like bronze, stone, fibre glass, cement and Plaster of Paris. You can see a few of my sculptures at Tenneti Park, Gokul Park, Kailasagiri and other prominent places in the city.”
Talking about his upcoming dinosaur theme park in Srisailam, Ramana says, “My work will showcase the evolution of dinosaurs and mankind. I am very excited about this project.” Ramana, who finished his graduation in Fine Arts from Andhra University in 1996, is now working as a teacher in Andhra University High School.
